A Salina woman died in a crash on I-70, one mile east of Grandview Plaza, in Geary County, about 7:47 p.m. Friday evening, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report.

Heather Hurley, 30, of Salina, drove a 2000 Ford Explorer eastbound on I-70 when she lost control and overcorrected, causing the Ford to overturn. Hurley died in the crash, the report stated.

Bryan Hedrick, 40, of Eudora, drove a 2017 Peterbilt Semi behind the Ford, and the semi struck debris from the overturned Ford. Hedrick was not injured, the report stated.
