The Damar Community Historical Foundation presented a check in the amount of $3,860 to the Damar Volunteer Fire Department July 21. The money will be used to purchase a commercial high-pressure power washer that will be used to clean fire equipment following use. The money came through a grant from the Heartland Community Foundation made possible from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation.
