Grinnell Middle School damaged in fire overnight

A fire damaged a middle school in the town of Grinnell overnight. That is in Gove County.

KSN has learned the fire started around midnight. Several fire departments were called to the school.

When fire crews arrived, flames could be seen coming out of the roof in the gymnasium area.

Officials called in firefighters from area departments to put out the flames.

Crews were still on the scene of the fire this morning. There are no injuries reported.

Crews are still investigating the full extent of the damage and how the fire started.
