Car catches fire in Southeast Topeka early Saturday morning

A car fire destroyed a sports utility vehicle in southeast Topeka early Saturday morning. The car, parked in a driveway, was fully engulfed in flames.

The report of the car fire came in just after 2:00 a.m. It happened in the 300 block of SE 43rd Terrace. Dispatch said no one was hurt by the fire.

Investigators are determining the cause.
