A semi tractor-trailer fire backed up traffic along I-35 from mile post 179 to near Williamsburg around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, an Ottawa fire official said. Tim Matthias, Ottawa fire chief, said the blaze was under control real fast and there were not any injuries. “The cab part is completely destroyed and the truck part had commercial lawnmowers in it. There is significant damage throughout the trailer.” The cause of the fire was unknown. The highway reopened around 3:05 p.m.
