The Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Department was in for a surprise when they dumped the water out of their truck on June 3.

According to the fire department, during training, they drafted water out of a pond. They used plastic strainers, but a catfish broke through and the intake caught him.

They found this little guy peeking out once they started to dump the water out of the truck.
