3 escape Junction City house fire

Three people safely escaped a house fire in Junction City Sunday.

The Junction City Police Department was dispatched to the fire in the 1600 block of Westwood Boulevard.

Officers were able to help the three people out of the home before fire crews arrived.

Junction City Fire were able to quickly extinguish the flames.

The house is considered habitable. Most of the damage was to the exterior of the house and little smoke was found inside.

The fire stemmed from the northeast exterior of the house and is determined to be accidental with an undetermined ignition source.

The estimated damage is $3,300.
