KSFFA Regional Fire School
Hosted by Pratt Fire Department
July 6-8, 2018
Location: Liberty Middle School, 300 S. Iuka

Friday 6th – 6:30 p.m. – Pratt Community Center (meal included)

  1. Jonathan Jarvis – Wichita Fire Department will speak on Extreme Ownership of the Fire Service
  2. 10-33 Foundation class for spouses of first responders (SAMM)

Saturday Morning – July 7th – 8:00 a.m.

  1. Wildfires – 8 hrs.
  2. Vehicle Extrication – 8 hrs. – Bunker gear & SCBA needed
  3. Pump Operations – 8 hrs.
  4. Search & Rescue – 8 hrs. – Bunker gear & SCBA needed
  5. Building Construction & Structural Collapse – 4 hrs.
  6. 10-33 Foundation for First Responders (SAMM)
  7. FRA Mini-Clinic

 Saturday Afternoon – July 7th – 1 p.m.

  1. Wildfire, cont.
  2. Vehicle Extrication, cont.
  3. Pump Operation, cont.
  4. Fire Cause & Determination – 4 hrs.

Sunday – July 8th – 8:00 a.m.

  1. C.E.V.O. – 4 hrs.
  2. Ventilation – 4 hrs.
  3. Lesson Learned – 4 hrs.

Sunday – July 8th – NOON

  1. KSFFA Burn Trailer – Bunker gear & SCBA needed

  • These courses are offered at no charge.
  • These schools are open to all firefighters/EMS
  • The KSFFA furnishes medical insurance for all participants.
  • The KSFFA is not responsible for lost or damaged clothing or equipment.
  • If you desire to have Firefighter One or Two testing, this must be pre-registered through Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute.
  • The KSFFA offers fit testing with its porta-count machine at all regional fire school.
