Saturday Morning – January 6 – 8:00 a.m.

  1. NFIRS
  2. Ventilation
  3. Vehicle Extrication – Requires Full Turn-Out Gear & Approved for BEMS CE Hours
  4. Basic Skills – Requires Full Turn-Out Gear & SCBA
  5. Rural Water Supplies – Requires Full Turn-Out Gear
  6. Incident Command System

Saturday Afternoon – January 6 – 1:00 p.m.

  1. Highway Traffic Management – Approved for BEMS CE Hours
  2. Vehicle Extrication, cont.
  3. Basic Skills, cont.
  4. Rural Water Supplies, cont.
  5. Incident Command System, cont.
  6. Emergency Landing Zone – Eagle Med – Approved for BEMS CE Hours

Sunday Morning – January 7 – 8:00 a.m.

  1. Vehicle Extrication, cont.
  2. GPS for Emergencies & USAR Markings
  3. Incident Command System, cont.
  4. Chief Officers Class

Sunday Afternoon – January 7 – NOON

  1. KSFFA Burn Trailer – Requires Full Turn-Out Gear & SCBA

  • These courses are offered at no charge.
  • These schools are open to all firefighters/EMS
  • The KSFFA furnishes medical insurance for all participants.
  • The KSFFA is not responsible for lost or damaged clothing or equipment.
  • If you desire to have Firefighter One or Two testing, this must be pre-registered through Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute.
  • The KSFFA offers fit testing with its porta-count machine at all regional fire school.
