KWCH – February 13, 2017

One woman died after swerved to avoid hitting a deer two miles west of Protection, Kansas.

Peggy Snodgrass, 62, was driving eastbound around 7:30 PM Saturday evening when she swerved into a ditch.

The vehicle began to roll and Snodgrass was ejected from the vehicle. Kansas Highway Patrol says the woman was not wearing a seat belt.

No one else was in the vehicle.
