Mulberry Fire Engulfs Building

An early morning structure fire in Mulberry, Kan. caused significant damage to the building standing at 1198 E. 620th Ave.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office was notified about the fire at 1:37 a.m. Friday. Upon arrival, the structure was fully engulfed in flames.

The structure was deemed a “total loss.”

The Arma Fire Department, Mulberry Fire Department, Frontenac Fire Department, Baker Township Fire, and Crawford County EMS were all dispatched to help fan the flames.

The incident is still under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Fire Marshal’s Office.
