Four Animals Saved In Manhattan House Fire

Four animals were saved from a house fire Friday morning in Manhattan.

Manhattan Fire Crews were called to 1015 Colorado Street on reportsof a structure fire. When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the structure’s attic. Crews contained the fire within 30 minutes.

No one was home at the time of the fire, but crews were able to rescue two dogs, a cat and a gecko. Three people that live at the home are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Estimated losses are $90,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
