A recreational vehicle, pulled off on the side of Interstate-70 near 78th St., caught fire Friday morning, closing eastbound lanes of I-70.

The call came in at about 10:05 a.m. Heavy smoke was coming from the RV, and the Turnpike Authority says all eastbound lanes were shut down while it was contained.

An hour later, lanes were reopened.

No one was hurt in the fire.
