Firefighters said a Kansas City, Kan., house had already burned to the ground when they arrived early Sunday.

The fire engulfed the house at East 47th Street and Sortor Drive.

Firefighters said they went into defensive mode to keep the flames from spreading.

No injuries were reported in the fire, and investigators have not said how it started.

Firefighters said low water pressure was a problem because they had worked to put out fires at two vacant homes down the street on Saturday.
