The occupants of a vehicle involved in an injury accident in Osage City each refused treatment for minor injuries sustained in an accident Thursday.

Damage to the vehicle and private property were sustained when a 1994 Oldsmobile 88 Royal, driven by Shane Kendall, of Osage City, lost control at 12:57 p.m. April 3 while traveling north on South Martin Street. The vehicle crossed through oncoming traffic and left the roadway, striking several poles and vaulting over a culvert before coming to rest in front of 435 S. Martin St.

Kendall and passenger, Carissa Sloop, also of Osage City, received minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene. Kendall was cited for having an expired driver’s license.

Kendall’s vehicle was removed by Osage Trucking, LLC. Damage was made to private property owned by Joe Shafer, of Osage City.
